Participatory Theatre

After earning my university master’s degree in acting and puppeteering, I dedicated several years to creating participatory theatre for underprivileged children and teens. My work tackled challenging topics such as bullying, abuse, grief, and mental health, offering a platform for expression and healing. I also led workshops and participatory puppet theatre projects across the Hungarian countryside.

As a puppetry enthusiast, I also lead engaging workshops internationally where participants create minimalist puppet abstractions using paper, wire, and textile material. We dive into the essentials of character creation and animation, sparking creativity and artistic expression in a fun, hands-on environment.

CAMP

In Taipei, I held a multi-day complex puppet workshop for Taiwanese artists, and art university students, organised by Wan Theatre.

During the workshops and the rehearsals, we explored not only the basic technical skills of puppetry but also delved into the layers of meaning in puppet animation and material usage. As part of the workshop, we conducted research on the growing sense of anxiety in the Taiwanese community and the stifling effects of social media. We presented the work in the form of video and paper installations and puppet performance at the Wan Theatre. The focus was on the complex and repressed relationship with mental health in the Taiwanese community.

Kojot Creates the World

A complex theatrical experience for families raising hearing impaired children in the organisation of Hallókaland.

The puppet based performances aim to provide a complex theatrical experience for hearing impaired children, as well as to provide professional advice to families.

Part of the mission is the development of hearing and speech, which offers a unique opportunity for children to develop through artistic experiences with the involvement of professionals.
